Kim Nyajeka is an invaluable member of our Sidera team, currently serving as a Global Impact Intern with a primary focus on projects within our South African branch. With a background predominantly in corporate and commercial legal practice, Kim specializes in providing regional and international trade and investment advisory services to both local governments and multinational companies.


Kim graduated with distinction from the World Trade Institute (WTI), where she earned her Master of Laws (LLM) in International Trade and Investment Law. Prior to that, she completed her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at Rhodes University. Additionally, she holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Economics (DAS) in International Law and Economics, further solidifying her expertise in the field.


Before joining Sidera, Kim interned at the World Trade Organization (WTO) within the Legal Affairs Division, gaining valuable insights into international trade dynamics. Her previous roles in corporate and commercial legal practice have involved advising on mergers and acquisitions, as well as engagements in the mining and renewable energy sectors.


Kim Nyajeka is a published author and a recognized voice in the legal and economic spheres. Her work includes publications such as "Safeguarding Sovereignty and Digital Transformation in Africa" and "How can the AfCFTA assist Small Scale Traders?", both of which have been featured on prominent platforms including Afronomics Law and tralac.org. In addition to her written contributions, Kim is the creator and host of the podcast "..In This Economy", where she engages in discussions with individuals from around the world on the social implications of economic circumstances.
